To commemorate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, we teamed up with Manchester's Urban Splash to screen the Baz Luhrmann classic, Romeo and Juliet, at Sheffield's iconic Park Hill flats. Park Hill provided the perfect back drop for the film with its crumbling balconies and iconic I Love you will you marry me sign. The Miami-party vibes were kicked off by DJ Ian Stocksdale, alongside delicious street food by Percy and Lily's and Nether Edge Pizza.
Over 400 people attended the event and audiences were seated on beautiful vintage, stripy deckchairs and mismatched leather sofas to watch the film on a huge, inflatable 24 foot screen. The event took place in a derelict area of the site, making the experience all the more unique.
